On Saturday 25th Sept . it was my youngest daughters birthday . This is the card that is made for her .
I used white card as the base , then layered a deep red card on it . The patterned paper was from some of my paper stash . I used the new spellbinder's 'nestie's' for my image which i layered on red glitter card cut out using the same nestie . I couloured the image in with 'cosmic shimmer paints' . I tried using watercolour pencils and pens but i just cant seem to get it right using them so i think i will stick with watercolour paints for now . At a later stage i am thinking of giving promarkers and copic pens ago , i do use the promarkers for the skin tones on the images as i do find that they give better results . I have used red brads in each of the corners . The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts . Ruth was thrilled with it and i am pleased with the result .
