NEED HELP AND ADVICE

Firstly HI and thanks for dropping by ! ..I haven't been making cards for long , hence not many on here , also have been quite poorly with my Fibromyalgia before Christmas so didnt get around to doing too much . I am going to my first card-making workshop this Saturday , and i cant wait !! So looking forward to it and learning as much as i can . Right i need help PLEASE ...where do i find good easy to understand info on how to use / manage your blog ??!!! I dont know how to use my blog apart from adding a new post , adding a photo and a couple of other easy things , but i dont know how to add awards , how to link my blog with another and to pass awards onto others , well i think you have the jist by now , i dont know a lot LOL !!! ..But i would oh so love to be able to join in more in blogging land !! ..I have tried searching for info on-line but didnt find much that helped , so please if anyone drops by and reads this could you just leave a message with info on how to find out more ..Many thanks for that !!

Before i go , has anybody been watching 'Sheena Douglas' on Create and Craft and the 'Spellbinders ? !!! I seriously have to get myself a cuttlebug and some 'Spellbinders '!!!....

MY THOUGHTS AND PLANS

This will just be a short up-date .  I have decided that i seem to be getting no-where fast , so , i have made enquires and found that a craft shop in the next town runs work-shops once a month and , i have signed up for some classes .  I have all this crafting stuff sitting in my crafting room and all these ideas but i just cant seem to get them on the paper , so to speak !  Hopefully once i start to learn how to use different items and tecniques i can then start putting them into practice !!! I have come across some really wonderful blogs on here ! There are a lot of very talented people out there ! ..I would love to combine stamping ( which i have come to love ) with quotes , ( which i love to collect ) and make some beautiful cards which can then be kept as  keepsakes for my family .  I have finished work now , i have been accepted for full ' ill health retirement ' and i want to do something with the free time i will now have , sitting doing nothing is not how i want to be spending the rest of my life thanks ! Another thing that i would love to do this year is to learn how to drive , but i think i have to do one thing at a time .  I think that is one of my problems , i cant just do one thing at time and i end up not completing anything and that ends up with me stressing out .  This i think is to do with work and my illness and knowing that i had to get everything done on my days off because on my work days i would come home completly exhausted and had to lie down , i just cant seem to get myself out of that mode of thinking and behaving , everything i do is in a rush !  Perhaps i should join a group that teaches meditation or something like that lol !! Did i say this was going to be a short update lol !! thats just like me lol !!! ..Anyway i think thats all for now .

Late but still here !!

Hello All
Well i should have done this posting along time ago , but with one thing and another and Christmas i never seemed to have the time to sit and do this ...

The weather has been cold and we had some snow but not as bad as the rest of the country ! and now they are warning of floods because of the thaw out !  Why is it that life seems to revolve around the weather , is it a 'English' thing ? !!!

I had a brilliant Christmas although hectic and i did manage to make Family cards .  It took me a while and a lot of work as i have only made about 6 cards before but i was so pleased with how they turned out that it was worth all the time they took .  One thing's for sure i will be starting much earlier with my preparations for Christmas 2010 !

I have now finished work as i have been awarded full 'ill health retirement'  and i am so happy as i just couldnt cope any longer with work and my illness .  Maybe now i can spend some time doing the things that i have wanted to do for so long but just didnt have the energy , i'm looking at this as a New Beginning , A new adventure !!

The top card is one i made for a friend and the verse i encluded , the next cards are the ones that i made for my close family, 11 altogether .

The bottom  card i made for my brother who lives in Australia , i was too worried that the card would be damaged in the post to him so i scaled it down and changed it in some ways .

You can tell i know how to lay my blog out cant you LOL my pictures seem to be going anywhere !!

The start of making the mince pies , i did 9 doz altogether , not all for me i might add LOL ! i make them for my mum , brother and my children and their families as well...also made pickles and pickled eggs for us all as well !
I had to include the last photo ...it think it says it all ..Murphy my 'little man' is thinking about tucking in i think LOL ...Oh what memories ...something no amount of money can buy or ever take away !!!
